Barbacàn - 2018 Sforzato
Hard hitting and serious. 'Sforzato' wines, in Italian 'strained', are made in northern Italy’s Valtellina region of Lombardy by air drying hand-harvested Nebbiolo grapes on straw mats until partial dehydration is achieved.
The resulting wines are imbued with a high concentration of flavour and crazy intensity.
Dark cherry, caramel, spicesl, smoke and olives.
